FUNDRAISING CAN BE FUN AND EASY CONTINUED...

Prince George's Community FCU in Maryland recently raised $3,073 to benefit Children's Miracle Network Hospitals in conjunction with the upcoming Credit Union Miracle Day, Inc., family of races including the April 1 Credit Union Cherry Blossom Ten Mile Run in Washington, DC. The credit union did Skip A Pay Loans at $25 per loan, with $5 of it going to the charity. "This was an easy and effective way to show our support for kids that need our help," said CEO Cindy Prestandrea. Prince George's Community FCU is a sponsor of the CUMD Family of Races.

CREDIT UNION CHERRY BLOSSOM TEN MILE RUN NOTES

New – Runner Packet Pick Up on Two Days, No Race Day Pick Up

Due to the enormous crowd of 15,000 runners trying to pick up their bibs and numbers on one day, there will be two days of pick up:  Friday, March 30 from 12 noon to 7pm and Saturday, March 31 from 9am to 5pm at the National Building Museum.  If a runner is unable to pick up on either day, they can provide a written note to a friend or colleague to pick up for them.  IMPORTANT:  there will be no packet pick up on the morning of the race,
Sunday, April 1.

The National Building Museum, 401 F St. NW, Washington, DC 20001, is easily accessible by Metro. The Judiciary Square Metro stop is across the street from the main entrance to the National Building Museum and is served by the Red Line. Use of Metro is strongly encouraged.

Important Reminder: Runner, Volunteer and Team Registrations Due March 1
