$460,000 was raised for Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals at Credit Union Cherry Blossom 10 Mile & 5K in Washington DC on April 6, 2025
Credit Unions and industry partners presented a $460,000 donation from Credit Union Miracle Day to Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals at the Credit Union Cherry Blossom 10 Mile in Washington, DC on April 6, 2025. Over $190,000 of the donation was raised directly by runners, their families, and friends who participated in the race.
The contributions highlight the dedication of credit unions nationwide to supporting the health and well-being of children and families in their communities.

Since becoming the title sponsor of the Credit Union Cherry Blossom Run in 2002, Credit Union Miracle Day has helped raise $12 million for CMN Hospitals nationwide. These funds directly benefit local children’s hospitals, funding critical research, treatments, and medical equipment.
The annual Capitol Hill Competition, sponsored by Congressional FCU, United States Senate FCU and America’s Credit Unions, is the race within the larger Credit Union Cherry Blossom 10 Mile. House and Senate offices form teams to compete for the Congressional Cup. The team with the best race time wins the cup to display in its office. This year there were 83 teams with over 950 staffers competing. The unofficial winner of the Congressional Cup was team “The Dean’s Team” from Representative Hal Rogers’ (KY) office.
